Ol' Town to Holetown

It took a bit of searching but we found our next stopping place – a nice apartment on the west coast of Barbados. In September we are leaving Ol' Town and heading to Holetown!

As we all know the most important thing to consider is to find a place that meets Cyndi's needs. :-) Sand, sun, heat, and fun are top requirements. In addition, Cyndi is somewhat nervous about swimming in the ocean what with minor hazards such as back breaking waves, powerful undercurrent, killer sharks and such. Cyndi says she doesn't want to be fish food.... who knew? It was clear we had to find a place with calm waters that allow for occasional toe dipping and serene photos of beautiful sunsets right from our own sandy beach.

Of course the obligatory shopping mall with all sorts of fresh groceries and the ability to stock up on home-making related items had to be within walking distance. As do fun pubs and restaurants for us to visit when we have the urge.... regularly... now that we have become accustomed to all of that from being in Puerto Vallarta.

Whew!

Were do we find a place like that? Tall order you might say... yes, but the boss knows what she wants and her research and development team always comes through to please her.

It took a while to find it, and it took another while to score the long-term rental arrangements with the management, but we have secured a one bedroom paradise setting at Sunset Crest Apartments in Holetown.
